PBG’s Joint Venture, Portmanteau, Awarded System Modernization Contract by NRC
PBG Consulting is excited to announce that our Joint Venture with TCG, Portmanteau JV LLC, has been awarded a Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) contract to support the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in its goal to modernize core business applications. This is the second contract award for the Joint Venture, which arose from a long-term strategic partnership between the two technology firms.
The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) ensures the safe usage of radioactive materials, while the OCIO plans, directs, and oversees the NRC’s information resources, including technology infrastructure, delivery of information management, and technology services to meet the mission and goals of the agency.
In support of NRC OCIO, Portmanteau will deliver redesigned scalable system architectures, conduct critical cloud migration, data management, and security tasks, and develop low-code platform microservices that can be reused across the suite of applications.
