PBG Awarded a 2-year Contract with the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS)
Washington, DC: PBG Consulting has recently been awarded a 2-year contract with the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) to provide Operations and Maintenance Support for their Comprehensive Electronic Permitting System (ePermits).
APHIS issues permits for the import, transit and release of regulated animals, animal products, veterinary biologics, plants, plant products, pests, organisms, soil, and genetically engineered organisms. ePermits is a web-based system that allows users to submit import/interstate movement/transit/release permit applications, track applications, apply for renewals and amendments, and receive copies of their permits.
As part of this contract, PBG will be providing Application and System Maintenance and Administration for ePermits to ensure continuity of services for APHIS user community.
